While packing my mum found a toybox from when I was a kid and it was full of my old disney figures, I used to play with them all the time.
Still so glad I found my Simba teddy, he’s looking good for being 18 years old, I’m a right kid when it comes to soft toys. Also, i just remembered that in primary school in year 4 we were doing a production of The Lion King, and the teacher said they needed something they could use to hold up as Simba in the bit when Rafiki holds him up on Pride Rock, and so I said I had a Simba teddy they could use. So then in the production he was passed across the line of kids dressed up a animals and then help up while we all sang the Circle of Life.
Just found my Simba teddy when I was packing my room up, got this little guy for my 2nd birthday, so almost 18 years ago exactly. When I was little I didnt realise his hair wouldnt grow back, so that little brown patch on his head is where his mae used to be before I got hold of a pair of scissors.
